I am out of my mind;
Throw an old line out to sea
To see if I can catch a dream...

I admit, it's been an eternity since I've been here faithfully. An eternity. That being said, this will be my final journal here, as I'm leaving these hallowed halls of artists galore.
For one, there's so much that comes in, and I can't keep up. nightowl96, for example. kLiT-sHy, for another. Oh, and I can't forget the Doc too. They, along with so much more people that I know [here's looking at you, Amanda] are talented artists in their own respects-- they deserve your full and undivided attention. Not only them, but their pieces of art too. You can't just breeze through a poem or story and comment it and move on, no. You should read, then re-read, then re-re-read again. And at LEAST five times. Then comment.
Another reason why I'm leaving is because... well, there's no easy way to say this, is there? I don't feel like an artist anymore. DA is a community- artists commenting and supporting other artists. I... just feel so out of the loop, you know? I haven't written a shred of anything poetic since January, and the only things I have written were assignments for a class, things I wouldn't have even dared writing if I weren't forced to.
There are more reasons, I'm sure. I'd just rather not dig into my heart at the 'mo, I hope you guys understand.
Contemporary poetry has no room for sonnets, did you know that?
Anyhow, I know there's a bunch of things I have to do before I officially kiss this account goodbye.
1) Read the Doc's Apprentices of Quark story- I've told him I'd read it, and I feel guilty for not doing so. I loved what I saw of his so far, and I need to complete it.
2) Read more of Manang Tin's poetry- at least ten or fifteen more. Her poetry is quite stimulating and unique, and I can't go wrong doing so.
3) Finish reading Sarabi's works, which I've so far covered about 5 or so of, and I think there's 10 left. She's grown, haha.
4) Just because I need a four.
So that's it then. It's been a good run. I hope I come back one day, haha, with something to show you guys.
Until then.
Rachel: (crying) Do you guys have to go to the new house right away, or do you have some time?
Monica: We got some time.
Rachel: Okay, should we get some coffee?
Chandler: Sure. Where?
